We live in a society where modernization and competition has become an inevitable part of our lives. We all want comfort, convenience, security and luxury. But running after achieving them, we forget what we were running for, the bottom-line- Happiness!Our goal gets dwindled. Soaring competition leads to stress, anxiety, envy, pride, insecurity. These are the seeds of Physical, mental, emotional stress causing problems like anxiety, depression,eating disorders, panic attacks and other Physical or mental disorders.

With modernization we all want things to happen just at the click of a button. The whole world shrinking into computers gives great convenience but –at the same time sedentary lifestyles have become major threats to our health. Fast Food options and lack of Physical exercises/ labor increase proneness to obesity, Hypertension, heart diseases, Diabetes are to name a few.
Busy with maximizing our performance through cellphone usage, we become absolutely negligent about its radiation and effects on our health. Increasing pollution through such as electromagnetic waves or harmful radiations can be damaging to the extent of causing mutation, auto-immune diseases or even cancer. We all talk about global warming issues, natural calamities, but sitting in air-conditioned buildings, we continue to make ecological imbalance.
With so much of fast-paced modernization happening all around, increasing materialism, striving for better status, ever-soaring aspirations; we are eliminating simplicity completely out of our lives. We are openly inviting threats to our health and our environment.
At this juncture we need to pause, re-orient our lifestyles, focus them around our health and happiness integrating simplicity, Eco-friendliness and mind-body discipline in our lifestyles.
