Minimize your Guest list

In an Indian wedding typically on an average there are 250-300 invitees. If both the bridge and groom are from the same town, the invitees list can easily extend to more than 500. Indians are known for their warmth and hospitality, and weddings are occasions in which all relations, friends, neighbors and extended relations are invited. A buffer of 20-30 odd people is easily estimated with friends’ friends adding up. Typical Indian wedding is a huge mighty affair! The more the merrier is the principle. But there are a few uninvited “mores”- Gossips and Grapevines! Chances of space crunch, mess, soaring expense, mismanagement increase with more number of people. Obviously with more number of people you invite more of such odds too. Solution is darn simple- minimize you guest list!
An Indian Wedding 2

Do an intimate wedding. It will give more room to every one participating. Minimize chaos, confusion and commotion. You can do a wedding more elegantly and you can probably rejoice more rituals with lesser crowd.  Well of course, with number of invitees scaled down to your main picks, you minimize rest of it all. You minimize expense, fuel wastage, power wastage, Food wastage and you also minimize carbon footprints. Of course you can also keep away from the bickering of your pseudo-close relatives.
Let your moment of your life speak for your values. Let them not dilute for keeping up with everyone’s expectations. This one is a key tip for an eco-friendly wedding. Are you in for an eco-shaadi ( a green wedding)!
