"Organic Plates": Prefer "Pattals"over Plastics

Totally eco-friendly and no plastic toxins for you or any paper wastage. These are plates made of dried leaves stitched together with small thin wood stalks. In India, still at many places on occasions or large get-togethers, pattals (plates made of leaves) and donas (bowls made of leaves) are still used to serve Food. Once quite common (till 1960s), people in India are getting back to these traditions for eco-freindliness and health. Pattals are now of course better made with machines now and many rural livelihood projects are based on it.
To maintain ethnicity certain thematic  restaurants like chokhi dhani (a 5 star village resort) serve Food in pattals. Mahul, Sal,Peepal or Malu leaves are used for it. Banana leaves have been long used in Southern India. They don't even need stitching.

Totally healthy, organic and ready to mingle back in nature after serving you! Ready to try 'em all of over again!
