In most of the weddings, a large menu with cuisines from around the globe is made to keep up with the trends of hospitality and showiness. This inadvertently leads to lot of wastage of Food. By the time guests go trying a bit of the whole exotic À la carte and finally settle with their choice of Food, they may already be full! The next serving is most of the time just meant to go nowhere but into the trash! Some guests may totally dislike the bizarre tastes which the host might have taken extra pains to explore from the most exotic menus to add to the grandiose. There is a lot of spent of time, energy and money in coordinating with large menus. Not to miss the large amount of fuel that is used for Cooking. Also, when there is a lot to be managed, quality tends to get compromised. On the funny side some of the guests would go home with their souls unfulfilled as they will find many items to be over by the time they reached to dig in.

A concise menu of common choices is the most appropriate thing to do where there can be better focus on quantity as well as quality. There is not much of chaos and the guests are also satisfied. Bottom-line, the meal is for the guests and not to keep the tastes of the host or showcase the in-depth knowledge of the organizers.
